Privacy
This policy explains what Jarvis Wire (the "Site") collects and why. The short version: reading the Site collects nothing about you beyond ordinary server logs; joining the waitlist collects your email address.
1. What we collect, and why
- Email address, only if you join the waitlist. Purpose: to send you one message if a live tier opens. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the agreement box and submitting the form.
- Connection data handled by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and by the waitlist function: your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit abuse of the waitlist form and may appear in standard, short-lived infrastructure logs. We do not build profiles from it.
- Nothing else. The Site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, runs no tracking pixels, and does not fingerprint your browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the 3D background library from cdnjs; those providers may see your IP address as part of serving the file, under their own policies.
2. How we use it
Waitlist emails are used solely to send the message described above. We do not sell, rent or trade email addresses, and we do not use them for marketing beyond that single notice.
3. Who we share it with
Waitlist submissions are forwarded to the operator through a messaging service (Telegram) and may be stored in the operator's hosting account (Cloudflare). We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Retention and deletion
Waitlist emails are kept until the live tier launches or the list is discontinued, whichever comes first, or until you ask us to delete yours. To be removed, contact CONTACT EMAIL TO BE SET BY THE OPERATOR and we will delete your address.
5. Your rights (including California residents)
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent at any time. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined there, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights. Residents of the EU/UK have equivalent rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. Send requests to the contact below; we respond within the time the applicable law requires.
6. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. The public data feed is read through a database policy that exposes only two-hour-old headlines and never exposes personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-party links
Headlines link to their original publishers. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
10. Contact
Privacy requests and questions: CONTACT EMAIL TO BE SET BY THE OPERATOR.
